Description:
Created between 2012 - 2015, during what I call Mid-Chapter 1—a phase within my artistic journey spanning 2006 - 2020. This piece is part of the Telastory Collection/Series, an exploration of storytelling, connection, and artistic collaboration.
“The Flower People” envisions a world where the forces of nature—water, rain, wind—intertwine with symbols of growth and harmony. These Flower People exist in balance, guiding us toward understanding and self-discovery.
Within this world, symbols emerge:
• The Wind Hears You – A whisper, an unseen force guiding movement and change.
• Harmony Feeds You – Growth is nurtured not through control, but through balance.
• The Circle Sees You – Is it the circle of time? Or the circle of the soul? Its presence lingers, watching, holding meaning yet to be fully understood.
Throughout the composition, characters and signs appear as guides, offering direction and quiet wisdom to the inner soul. The intricate details weave together a story of growth, cycles, and the unseen forces that shape our lives.
______
When creating Telastory, I was thinking about theatre, the stage, and the art of storytelling. It was about engaging an audience in a world where stories could be shared, evolved, and expanded upon. A creative hub where voices could be heard, and narratives could be shaped collectively.
This piece embodies that vision:
• A storytelling space, allowing people to add to, swap, and collect stories.
• A platform for collaboration, where art is a conversation rather than a statement.
• A place to listen to our inner voice, to inspire and awaken each other.
• A neutral, safe space, free from borders, division, or the need to be “right.”
In a conflicted world, I hope to use art and storytelling as a means of co-creating a new understanding—one that encourages tolerance, openness, and a deeper connection to ourselves and each other.
This illustration is more than a static piece; it is an invitation to engage, to reflect, and to contribute to the story.
