Description:
Created between 2012 - 2015, during what I call Mid-Chapter 1—a phase within my artistic journey spanning 2006 - 2020. This piece is part of the Telastory Collection/Series, an exploration of storytelling, connection, and artistic collaboration.
“The Land of The Stars” is a world beyond words.
In this illustration, the mirrored rays of the moon and sun emerge in the top right, their celestial light reflecting upon this world of the people of the stars. Their presence is felt, their movements guided by unseen forces, yet no words are spoken—this is another world, where meaning is found in the quiet rhythm of existence rather than in language.
The composition unfolds like a fragmented dream, a glimpse into an unknown realm. The surreal architecture, floating figures, and shifting landscapes suggest a world that exists outside of time and place, allowing the viewer to interpret the story in their own way.
A piece about space. About mystery. About worlds that exist beyond what we see.
______
When creating Telastory, I was thinking about theatre, the stage, and the art of storytelling. It was about engaging an audience in a world where stories could be shared, evolved, and expanded upon. A creative hub where voices could be heard, and narratives could be shaped collectively.
This piece embodies that vision:
• A storytelling space, allowing people to add to, swap, and collect stories.
• A platform for collaboration, where art is a conversation rather than a statement.
• A place to listen to our inner voice, to inspire and awaken each other.
• A neutral, safe space, free from borders, division, or the need to be “right.”
In a conflicted world, I hope to use art and storytelling as a means of co-creating a new understanding—one that encourages tolerance, openness, and a deeper connection to ourselves and each other.
This illustration is more than a static piece; it is an invitation to engage, to reflect, and to contribute to the story.
